The municipality Vouprasias finds itself in the prefecture Ilia and it has nine Municipal Administrative Divisions, while he has population 11.204 residents according to the inventory 2001.
Capital of Municipality is Barda with 3.100 residents and the other divisions are Manolas, Nea Manolas, Nision, Kapeleto, Neapolis, Kourtesion, Kaluvakia, and Aetorachi. Big villages of Municipality are Manolada with 1.522 residents and New Manolada with 1.937.

The municipal administrative  of Aetorrachis division , is extended in the north-eastern department of prefecture Ilia and borders on the prefecture Achaia. 
It is built in the end of a hill that in its root unfolds immense, tharreis sea, the artificial lake of Penaeus of river. The view is panoramic and from there appears all the  villages of Pineias. In the depth of horizon of southly-western village distinguishes, Ancient Ilida, first capital of Ilia, still According to the legend in that  point the fabulous hero Iraklis linked the two rivers Penaeus and Alfios and cleaned the cowhouses of king Aygeia. 
The village old was named "Balaka", this name prevailed at the Ottoman domination, when there lived some Turkish squire Balak agas. After  the revolution 1821, the Turk left and all the  properties devolved to the possession of Greeks. Then begins also the colonize, the residents of which emanate from the region of Kalavryta. 

Thus began the exploitation and culture of ground.  The better properties were found next to the watercourse of Penaeus of river, which with his inhexaustible waters irrigated the ground and was benediction of god. A lot of acres planted with vines, grape, and all sorts of fruitful tree, embelished the small plain, next to the river. Did not forget however nor the livestock-farming, a lot of animals, mainly sheeps, grazed in the rich meadows. They thus continued and continue up to today, with inhexaustible zeal, their productive activity. The years passed and the summertime of year 1957, the village changed name and since then it is said Aetorrachi, synthetic two toponymies of village, region of Eagle and Ridge, where it is also built. Aetorrachi from then constituted community with the adjacent village Koumouthreka (that later was renamed in Dafni). Today does not exist the community, was suppressed with the law "Kapodistrias" and constitutes municipal administrator division  of Municipality Vouprasias.

Varda

Varda is the center  of  Municipality Vouprasias and according to inventory 2001 has 4.110 residents with the settlements Koygaiika (130) Komi (253), Sympanion (427) that constitutes the municipal administrating division  of Vardas .

As settlement it is reported in the beginning of century. A signficunt  factor that contribute to its growth was the manufacture of railway line at year 1888. Fertile and productive immense agricultural activities  and the first street-plan drawing of settlement that became in 1926. Varda  still  owes its growth in its central geographic place in the region and the role that it plays as transport node . In the beginning it was named Railway Station Manolados, then Railway Station Vardas and finally Varda. The name has its origins to  the phrase  "Varda to pass", that said the travellers because the venturousness of region. The opinion that was named Varda from a battle is not valid, because nowhere is not reported this. Therefore due to  the railway station, and the road transport Patrases of - Pyrgos, it began to  attract many from the residents of region, but also from neighbouring prefectures and islands. 
The population of Bardas at the inventory 1920 was 1.073 residents, 1928 was 1.273, 1940 he was 1668, [to]1951 were 2044, in 1991 has 3.725 residents the bigger demographic rise, presented Varda at the years between the inventories 1961 and 1971, when moved in  enough of the residents of Xenias, that were abandoned because the manufacture of technical lake of Penaeus.

Varda is village of Ilia and the municipal administrative division of Municipality Vouprasias.

It is placed  ten minutes  from the seas Mprinia, Kounoupeli, Kounoupelaki and Falari, while it is found next to the splendid forest of Strofylias, that it has been saved from the fires 2007 that affected the prefecture.

It has a municipal school, high school and Lyceum, while the football's team of Vardas finds itself in [G]' National Division.

The municipal apartment Kapeleto constitutes the centre of homonym municipal administrative division of municipality Voyprasias. At the inventory 2001 it had 568 residents with the settlement Thanasoulaiika (115) and is found in fertile region of north-western Ilia, southly-western Patras and in distance of 45 kms from the Pyrgos.

Kourtesion is found 7 kilometres of south-western of Vardas, in the street to Pyrgos.
 It is recommended by the villages Kourtesi, Ano Kourtesi and Kotteika.
In the inventory 2001 it had 842 residents.

Manolas is found 3 kilometres of Western Bardas, in the street towards the sea.
In 2001 had 1837 residents.

Nea Manolas

Nea Manolas it is found 3 kilometres of Northern Bardas, in the street to Patras.
In 2001 had 1628 residents.

Neapolis

Neapolis is found 5 kilometres of Eastern Vardas (afterwards the Psarri). 
In the inventory 2001 it had 380 residents.

Nision

In 2001 had in the inventory 582 residents.

Kalyvakia

Kalyvakia are found 28 kilometres of south-eastern Bardas (in the eastern point of artificial lake of Penaeus).
In the inventory 2001 they had 110 residents.
